I started shooting at Daventry in October 2010. I did not manage to shoot during the summer but have been practicing at home too. I have certainly improved but maybe I need to investigate investing in a new bow as it seems my limbs are twisted (on the bow not my arms).
My bow is made by Border Archery and it had sat in the loft for at least 14 years and is probably some 30 years old, but I like the style. I bought it when I worked up near Berwick upon Tweed. So I have probably not been doing archery for some 20 years.
The LB crew are a friendly bunch and I enjoy shooting with them. I would like to develop my skills and start to shoot outside as well this year. I would also like to pick up some maintenance skills.
I am a keen motorcyclist (Moto Guzzi) and go walking in Scotland once a year bagging some Monros (I only go for the walk not numbers) and teach yoga.
